About me.
From the wild expanses of South Africa to the tranquil shores of home, meet our author, a woman of remarkable spirit and boundless creativity. An adventurous soul in her 30s, she has lived a life as rich and diverse as the stories she crafts.
Her journey as a storyteller began during her gap year, when she enrolled in a Game Ranger course in South Africa. This was where she met Matt, her future husband, and the first chapter of their love story was written. After the course, she took up a position at a wildlife reserve, immersing herself in the raw beauty of nature, which continues to inspire her narratives today.
A few years later, a surprise call from Matt led to a romantic reunion and, ultimately, a marriage that has flourished for over a decade. Now parents to two children, they reside in a spacious house, shared with their two beloved Golden Retrievers.
Our author’s love for nature extends beyond her profession. An avid photographer, hiker, and sailor, she often combines these passions with her writing, weaving tales from their family adventures. Their sailboat, a vessel of many shared memories, is a testament to their love for the sea and the outdoors.
Her gift for storytelling has been a constant throughout her children’s lives. She has nurtured their imaginations with stories since infancy, spinning new “episodes” each evening during their travels. Today, she is expanding her audience, penning short stories on various subjects. These bite-sized narratives are perfect for lunch breaks or commuting journeys, offering readers a brief escape from their daily routines.
She is also in the process of writing a book, a testament to her commitment to her craft and her desire to share her unique perspective with a wider audience. As a writer, she captures the essence of her experiences, transforming them into engaging, relatable narratives. Her upcoming book promises to be a testament to her journey, a reflection of her love for nature, and a celebration of her talent as a storyteller.
Join her as she continues to explore the world, one story at a time.
